I define myself as a traveler, dreamer, hard-worker, laughter, communicator, and a leader. I value kindness, listening, understanding, empathy, learning, intuition, and responsibility above all else.
Self-management is also a key- if I have a set of goals in my mind, I will do my best I can to achieve them. I see leadership as a lifelong development process; I desire to make things better, I am trustworthy and value the fact that I have credibility, I strive for congruence and internal confidence and I will keep learning from others and help others to learn. These personality traits enable me to develop myself and influence the group to create impact.
After one or two years of working, I want to apply for MPA (Master of Public Administration) or MIA (Master of International Affairs) programs to continue dedicate to international development or foreign affairs. I am also planning to apply for the Schwarzman scholarship to study in the Tsing Hua University for International Studies.
Lastly, I want to establish my own non-governmental Foundation, so I can raise funds and support children receiving better education and also problem-solve about the environmental issues in China. I would like to become a professor in International Studies so that I can apply my knowledge and experience to the classroom in order to inspire future leaders.
